Official Rules

Interim version, October 16, 2026. These Official Rules apply to TallyUP matches and tournaments and are part of our Terms of Service. The version in effect when you enter a match applies to that match.

1. Sponsor. TallyUP matches and official tournaments are sponsored and run by Exponential Corp. (TallyUP), 3325 Jefferson St #1096, Napa, CA 94558. Apple and Google are not sponsors of, and are not involved in, any TallyUP match, tournament or prize.

2. Who can play. You must be 18 or older. To play for real money you must also complete identity verification, meet the higher minimum age in Alabama and Nebraska (19) and Mississippi (21), and be physically located in a permitted state each time you enter (see Legal). We check your location by GPS for every real-money entry. Everywhere else, you play with your rewards balance.

3. How a match works. A match is a head-to-head game between two players. Both players pay the same entry. The entry and the prize are shown before the match starts, and the winner receives the prize. If any part of the winner's entry was funds they added or winnings, the prize is paid as winnings. If the entry was entirely rewards, the prize is paid as rewards.

4. Prizes and the platform fee. The prize is both players' entries combined, minus a platform fee of 15% when the combined entry is $1.00 or more. When the combined entry is under $1.00, there is no fee and the prize is both entries. Example: two $50 entries make $100 combined, so the prize is $85.

5. Ties. A tie is a settled result; the match is not replayed. If the combined entry is $1.00 or more, each player gets back their entry minus a fee of 7.5% of that entry (half the platform fee), rounded down to the cent. Example: with two $5 entries, each player gets back $4.63. If the combined entry is under $1.00, each player gets back their full entry.

6. Matches that don't happen. If a match can't start or finish because no opponent is found or because of a technical failure on our side, every entry is returned in full, with no fee.

7. Opponents. Real-money matches are always against another player. Rewards-only matches may be against a practice opponent run by TallyUP.

8. Official tournaments. Each official tournament shows its entry, format and prizes before you join, and the announced prizes are paid in full. Official tournaments have no platform fee. A tie inside a tournament bracket is replayed as sudden death.

9. Private Tourneys. Private Tourneys hosted by players are for bragging rights only. No prize is offered or awarded, and hosts may not offer one.

10. Fair play. Each account belongs to one person, who plays for themselves. Collusion, bots or scripts, playing on someone else's account, multiple accounts and simulated locations are not allowed. We may void a match, withhold or reverse a prize, and suspend any account involved.

11. Withdrawals. Winnings and eligible rewards can be withdrawn after identity verification, as set out in the Terms of Service.

12. Questions and disputes. If you think a match result is wrong, email support@tallyup.com and we will review it. Disputes are handled as set out in the Terms of Service.
